Bitrue Celebrates COOK Debut with Smattering of Events

October 28, 2024 - Bitrue, a pioneer in cryptocurrency services, has today announced the launch of several events championing the newly launched COOK currency, which will imminently be available for trading in a joint launch on Bitrue and Byit.

COOK is the governance token of Mantle (L2) and the mETH Protocol, one of the largest liquid staking and re-staking protocols in the Ethereum ecosystem. The token is published by Bybit, who are launching trading for the token simultaneously alongside the Bitrue exchange.

Interest in cryptocurrencies is continuing to break through into mainstream conversations in recent months as Bitcoin pushes up against an all-time high, leading many users to look towards the wide world of alternative currencies to find “The Next Big Thing” that will give them huge returns. Towards this end, Bitrue will be providing the following services:

- On October 29th at 10:00 UTC, Bitrue will launch trading for COOK on a USDT pair, allowing users to buy and sell the currency.

- Also beginning October 29th, a deposit contest will begin wherein users who deposit the coin to Bitrue will be eligible to receive a portion of a 50,000 COOK prize. The more that a user deposits, the greater the portion of the prize pool they will receive.

- On October 30th, COOK will be entered into Bitrue's Power Piggy program, permitting depositors and purchasers to invest at up to 100% APY, exclusively for new users to the platform. Existing users will also be able to benefit from 20% flexible investments, allowing users to withdraw their coins from the investment at any time.

- Finally, on October 30th, 250,000 COOK will be made available to users who stake either MNT or COOK on the platform, with up to 80% APY available to investors.
